With the 9th Pick in the 2025 draft, who should the Saints select? (merged) (114 Viewers)

Graham isn't a nose. He's a 3-tech just like Bresee. He doesn't move the needle in run defense.

Also, there are NO GUARDS WORTH SPENDING A TOP TEN PICK ON. Not even a first rounder.

Are y'all just terrified of scoring points or something? "Jeanty only had 100+ yards against Penn State." Yes, against a team with good run defense that was stacking eight in the box and selling out to stop him. He still generated offense. Did I miss something, or are there only a small group of us who noticed how dinged up Kamara got this season? Or that Kendre is injury-prone? Or that Jamaal Williams is better at funny sound bites than he is at running the football at this point? Or that CEH may not be able to get past his PTSD? What makes y'all think that we have a stacked RB room?
Not disagreeing with any of your points…made me laugh when I read that maybe some folks thought we have a stacked running back room. We don’t have a single position group that is anywhere near stacked. So if anyone things that, they’re cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs. Lol

You made the comment earlier were we any better this after drafting Fuaga. And you mentioned Robinson for Atlanta. So my question to you is, how much better are the Falcons after drafting Bijan that high? Have they made the playoffs the 2 years they've had him? We need playmakers. But you can't reach for them.

I never said anything about ATL or Robinson…

But since you asked…. They were a lot better…. They chose to start the wrong QB this year and last. And they have built that team to be a royal PITA for the foreseeable future (for the next 5 to 8 years at least) on offense.

If Pennix turns out to be marginally better than Carr... They are miles ahead of where we are now.

Nobody wants to hear it but BPA it till the crows come home….chasing your troubles never seems to work out.

Again the Lions have the BEST OL in football

Again we have a 1st or 2nd round pick at every OLine position save 1. We have built it. It has to play better. Lions have also drafted WR TE and RB early in drafts before they became contenders. These things require context

Check my post history, no one is as high on Warren as I am but we can’t take him at 9. It’s time for our FO to do their homework and find us a replacement for Cam Jordan or whatever blue chip edge rusher will fit our new D.

Carter, Mykel Williams, James Pearce Jr, Scourton.. the talent will be there we need to find the right one. It’s insane to think we’re in a position to take a RB or TE top 10 while missing foundational peices
I know Abdul Carter won't be there. But I think I'm coming around on Pearce Jr. He's the only other edge I would take there.

In the top 10 you’re looking for the guy you’re wishing for the luxury to give a $100M+ contract to in 5 years. No one is wishing to pay RBs or TEs those contracts.

Teams would be falling all over themselves to give those contracts to Sewell or Parsons. Only there’s never a way in hell their teams let them leave like Barkley or Jacobs

Like say a guy that averages 17.5 sacks a year never leaves for another team…. Right?
