Easy, Kubiak. I've already spent too much time researching his offense, I can't change course now.
You have to judge him. If your line is bad, you scheme to protect the QB, he let his get sacked 65 times. I don't even know what the pressures and hits look like, but I imagine it was horrendous. Is it fair to even critique EB on his performance with the Commanders?
Bad O-line
Lame Duck HC that checked out really fast.
First-year ownership in place.
Shaky quarterback situation
Bienemy couldn’t elevate any of Washington’s supposed offensive talent. For as long as he’s been Chiefs OC with Reid and Mahomes, you’d think EB could scheme Howell into a competent, average QB. Terry McLaurin should’ve went off as a featured player since he’s the only legit playmaker in Washington’s offense. McLaurin also underperformed with EB.Is it fair to even critique EB on his performance with the Commanders?

Rivera may have already been on the way out but Bienemy couldn’t do anything to save the HC’s job, or to keep his own job on Quinn’s staff. Rivera was depending on him as an established assistant coach coming from a SB contender. I think Bienemy would be fine as a senior offensive assistant but not OC.
