There's lots to drool about with Daniels, but this play wasn't it.

How about that he threw a 52-yard Hail Mary with injured ribs?

It's all relative isn't it? Never said I could do it, but I'd bet that 25+ QBs in the NFL could. That's what I meant by 'not particularly special'.

I mean, that's just like your opinion. I thought it was impressive and he put it where something could happen with it...not to mention his ability to create space for himself to throw. How many times have we seen QBs get sacked before making the throw.

He bought himself 12 seconds which allowed the guys down the field to get in place for a jump ball. Yes, the Bears were dumb, and yes JD was good enough to take advantage of it.

They're only rushing 3 players. Pretty standard for a QB to scoot around for 10 seconds on a hail mary waiting for receivers to get downfield.
