Timberwolves finished with 9 points in those remaining 5+ minutes. Pels down by 1 at the end of 1Q. Crazy how much gambling controls the pace of point totals.

Zion's return just shows what I have been saying about him - Aside from not being able to stay on the court - When he's on the court, other guys don't fit well around him - All of a sudden Missi (who was looking like a ROY player) can't score because there is no space for him - CJ goes from a 50 burger a few nights ago to the invisible man - and Hawk is in the shadow realm again...

Play Zion enough before the deadline to have a team want to trade for him, and let's be done with this failed experiment....

Ugh we lost 20 out of 21 with Missi looking like a ROY. He still got 9 boards next to Zion, so he's still effective. We really don't need him leading the team in minutes played or taking too many shots. Rebounds, blocks, solid defense, that's what we need from him.

Anyone can say what they want about Zion's lack of availability. There's no denying it, but he just isn't getting traded. He makes too much, so the new CBA rules make it as hard as it's been to trade Ingram.... plus who values him more than the Pels at this point?

He looked to be in fantastic shape. Let's hope he stays healthy this time. None of these other fever dream scenarios are happening. Reality check

CJ feasts on bad teams and is incredibly inconsistent. His performance last night had zero to do with Zion. If anything he gets better looks because Zion is on the court.

I'm still very far from against trading Zion, but this graphic last night was impressive:
