The Older I get the Less I Can Stand Teenagers!

The circle of life. I am 26 and I can't understand the music the kids listen to today. The CDs in my car are all music that I have been listening to 5-10 years ago. The only new music I listen to has to be from a band that I liked back in the day.

I feel old.

What happened to music after STP, Pearl jam and nirvana? Rock is all girled out. Thanks MTV, the internet and american idol.

i can take the stupid things the teenagers do , but it is the disrespect they have for adults that gets me. they have a 14 year old kid in my subdivision that was yelling at my 7 year old daughter and her friends so i kindly asked him to leave my yard. later that day my neighboor jeff called me and said can you ask the boy to leave my yard because he is on top of my car playing hide and go seek with the other kids and he will not listen to my wife.
so i go outside and ask the kid to leave our yards again and he turns around and yells at me (you are such a f_g, leave me alone). i wanted to beat the crap out of this kid. if i would have pulled some crap like this my father would have killed me. kids today have no discipline.

I hate teenagers as well and im only 24 years old. I work with a couple and I just want to grab them by the throats.

The teenagers on this site are pretty cool and I have alot of respect for.

People that are 18-19 are still too young to have sex in many parents eyes. Though many prey on them. Which answers that for you, they don't know what to do yet. Might want to tamp that down some.

Yes, I sympathize with them. I have to, otherwise I would be in jail for double-murder of my own.

But our next generation of teenagers will be whole lot better... Once our people pop em up side the head once or twice, and they work a little bit harder because we are in a hard state of economic affairs...

First piece of advice kids.. Birth control...

Now that one, I agree with. My generation (and the subsequent ones after) don't have any respect for adults or police officers and it's sad to see. Anyway, I respect everyone (my parents raised me right).

Sorry for the double post, but anyway, they call that child abuse now . It's a darn shame you can't punish children without ridicule (no, I don't have children, but I can emphasize for I have worked with younger people before).

We're all yall born in your 20's or something and skip the teenage years because I'm pretty sure when yall were a teenagers you most likely annoyed the crap out of folks too. Just saying. I do agree that good rock music died a long time ago. I'm sure when I get older I'll feel the same way but everyone was an annoying teenager no matter how cool you thought you were.

Seriously, I mean, I can't stand a lot of things adults do, but I don't say that I hate adults. I understand that just because I dislike some adults I don't have to dislike them all. It's really frustrating that you hate teenagers, when you probably only focus on the bad conduct that you see out of them.

I am 16 years old, don't smoke, don't do any drugs, don't drink at ALL, respect older people very much and act very mature for my age. I take every opportunity I can to work hard and help other people in the process, and always try to make myself a better person. So to hate me because I am a teenager is really ridiculous. I strongly hate a lot of the things my peers do, and try not to associate with the ones that do really dumb things, but in High School if I didn't associate with anyone that did things I disapprove of I'd never talk to anyone. So do you hate me? If so, burn in hell.
