Teams know Graham is the only receiving threat, so they're jamming him and putting double coverage on him. We've seen Brees throw multiple picks this year trying to force it to Graham, and when Brees stops forcing it to Graham and accepts that the guy is just blanketed, everyone suddenly cries over how Graham "disappears." Opposing defensive players have openly said "cover Graham and their offense sputters", the Saints WRs have major issues getting seperation on press man coverages.

Ingram vs Robinson now replaced with "Graham is soft" and "Brees is hindering this team". Have fun :ezbill:

I disagree. WR is a big need imo. I love Colston and Moore, but they're possession guys. Colston doesn't have the speed to beat tight press coverage and Moore doesn't have the size to beat tight press coverage. Colston is a redzone mismatch and Moore destroys zone coverages, but they both have their shortcomings. Meachem is a one dimensional deep threat, teams know he's not an underneath threat so when he's on the field the CB plays for the deep ball. Stills has potential, but he's still an unknown, same with Morgan. Toon imo is a flop.

Graham is the only major receiving threat with size and speed, but he has elite TE speed, not elite WR speed, and anyone can be taken away with double coverage and bracketing.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but the Saints could really use a Julio Jones type receiver. Just a big fast WR that forces coverage to be rolled off of Graham.

Stills is going to be very good with another year under his belt and Joseph Morgan is coming back to be the deep threat. And Toon could still develop. We have veterans and young fast players at WR. I don't see it is a a need.

Now, if a Julio Jones or Megatron fall in your lap, you take them, but that's not going to happen when you are picking at No. 27. On the other hand, if some WR in the Percy Harvin mold is available at 27, I would not have an issue with that.

:gamefilm:

I think Jimmy Graham is our best pre-pre-game altercationalist.

Toon was inactive most of the season for a reason.

I'm more curious what the FA market will look like for WR's. We might be better served there than drafting another young guy. But, if the right big/fast receiver is there and he's he BPA, pull the trigger.

Corey White was supposed to be the #4 CB who saw extremely limited snaps... I can't hate on him because he was asked to do a ton more than the coaches had planned.

I'm not trying to hate on him.. I realize he wasn't meant to be a starter. but he was absolutely terrible in man coverage. dude got completely lost every time the ball was in the air. I'd like for our backups to be a tad better than that at least. especially if the injury bug strikes again.

everyone wants their backups to be better

corey white will be a great corner for us for years to come, book it

yes he annoyed me too giving up some big plays but he's a 2nd year guy w/ no starting CB experience at all -- additionally he fits the mold of what the new corner in the NFL looks like these days: 6'+, big frame, speedy

also if you noticed, white never got torched in coverage (except for that one brain fart against seattle in the end zone) he just never got his head around in time or could locate the ball, imo those are things you can coach someone

i mean honestly is corey white anymore of a liability in the secondary than roman harper (who i admit, played very well against seattle) or malcolm jenkins?

give the kid a chance

If the amount of butthurt on this forum over Richard Sherman was turned into currency, America would be debt free.

I was 100% hoping for a Broncos win up until checking the internet this morning.

Anybody that can turn the country into a whining, blubbering mess in about 10 seconds has my respect.

Being pro-Seahawks and Sherman could turn these next 2 weeks into some fun times.

No, F2.

I like how so many people in F2 cry about how "emotionless" Saints players are and how they "need to show passion", then when someone on a different team shows some raw emotion those same people get immensely butthurt.

F2 in general makes any Saints loss bearable because of how many people go full mtar in there.
