Yeah, but he was just wrong. We always run that screen in the two minute drill. Nobody could have been caught off guard who had studied our tendencies. Barber clearly did not. And, I'm fine with that call when there is time. It slows down the pass rush and you occasionally bust one, but we had no time to run it when we did and he could not get out of bounds which really ran the clock and may have made Brees force a ball that he should not have thrown.

But I sure hope the team just finally turned the corner, but they need to put it all together again to make me a full believer again.

That being said, isn't it amazing how something as inconsequential as Joe Morgan being suspended for unknown reasons drives the Fan Base nuts. The dude may not even make the team, yet he's the lynch pin we've been missing? Makes me want to gag some days.

They need at least 2-3 more solid wins to get me excited about their chances. A win tomorrow night will keep me open minded for sure, but won't get me all fired up yet at 500. Still a loss won't shut the door because the division is putrid and there's time to get things sorted just in the nick of time.

Of course, it helps when they only have one good receiver. We have one good corner to cover that good receiver.

It's when there are more I get a little more nervous.

Nice to see the D-Line take the game over, as they should have. Also nice that our defense was able to hold up after turning the ball over twice early. Game could have gotten ugly off the bat.

You couldn't tell that from being on the gameday board to start the 4th quarter. Seriously, like 10-20 people lost their damn minds when we passed on first and second down (even though the second down pass converted the first down).
