In all honesty though, the Falcons just Choked away the Super Bowl. This is a total schadenfreude moment. We're letting the boards have a little fun with it. It will be cleaned up soon.

The Super Bowl win spoiled the fan base. It's hard to get them to go back to being happy to be fans of a competitive team that doesn't win it all. Every year that they don't win the Super Bowl feels like a failure to them.

For me, it's odd. Winning that Super Bowl kind of felt like the completion of my journey as a fan. We won the final boss battle and I got my trophy and prizes. Now we are just replaying the game on a higher difficulty level. I was never into replaying an old game. Unlike buzd, I don't love nostalgia.

Nop. Also, American football has become a watered down money grab at the expense of everything else, including player safety, ethics, entertainment factor, and a number of other things.
