I rewatched the end of the game. Gah!, why the stupid time out before that toss left?!?!? Drew got the snap off. Great disguised pass play that was really a run. Then we muck up protection on a pass play, now we have to punt. Drive killer.

Then the defense really was stepping up. short gain, short gain, first down, but not far and immediately tackled. Do that two more times. Then, big pass play, then blown coverage/penalty. Way to just totally unravel.
 
Yes. It's a start. But the Vikings are hot garbage. Maybe something changes, and maybe this win helps, but right now we aren't good enough to go where we want to go.

Yeah thankfully the Vikings were hot garbage and we were only luke warm garbage. I hate winning on Sunday and not having that happy feeling come Monday because well, it just wasn't that impressive of a win. We didn't look very good except for those first drives.
 
we just need someone to suplex brees every week to fire us up so we can win.
 
We have two more garbage days to work things out and then a bye. The schedule gets tougher but we may be blessed with a month to slowly fix things.

We've played 3 garbage teams and only squeaked out one win. I'll take what I can get at this point (TWSS)
 
Time was when we had emotional calluses for this kind of stuff. I hope we don't have to get used to it again.
 
why can't we play like we did in OT all of the time? that was the kind of drive we were expecting going into this season.
