How was this guy sitting on Kansas City's
practice squad? He was the reason
the Boys took down the Bucks.
Heckuva signing by Dallas and a huge
slip by the Chiefs. Wish we could find
a disruptive force on the outside like that.

He isn't a DE but, Bucs TE Cameron Brate was on our Practice Squad last year, and then the Bucs took him and now he is Pro Bowl bound.

Teams make odd choices for who they will keep and who they don't. I am sure KC is missing Irving less than we are missing Brate.

Irving was unstoppable last night. I asked my brother in law from Dallas who he was and he responded "I don't know, but I like!" Props to them for picking him up.

I didn't realize that Brate was on our practice squad last season. What a loss, but we do have Snead which we picked off of another teams practice squad and it worked out. It's impossible to win every decision made.

I get it, but as kewinn posted, we have a (possibly) 1,000yd receiver who was on the Panthers practice squad.

It happens. Guys get lost in the shuffle, get found by the right situation, and then produce.

But it doesn't' happen often, comparatively speaking.

We had Brate for less than a week after the Bucs had invested nearly 2 years in him. Once they had a roster spot, they signed him right back off of our practice squad. So, it is not like we developed him and lost him.

Since Marineli became their D-Cordinator, most of their D-Lineman have played pretty well and have been disruptive. They must have a pretty good system in place.

You're right, we didn't even think enough of him to put him on our active roster. Oh well. Live and learn.

How about the Browns.....two years ago they had BOTH Willie Snead and Taylor Gabriel on their practice squad.

Now if we could just trick them into sending us Terrelle Pryor.

Yes, for less than a week. Bucs cut him, we signed him to PS and then they signed him back to active roster in less than a week.

The beloved Pats let T. Pryor walk. It happens.
