I believe, and this is just my personal opinion, we are good and don't need to look further than what we have. The last six weeks have proven that even without our HOF QB and our dual threat RB, our defense will continue to castrate other inferior squads. How many weeks have "experts" picked against us? How many times do we have to dominate teams in front of their "fans" before everyone understands there will be no contest? For years, I have prayed (I really have) for a stout defense to keep us in games, and I truly feel my prayers have been answered. I sincerely hope we ride with what we have and that we let everyone else reach for players out of desperation.

I am feeling a little 2009 on this one, gentlemen. We have the pieces in place; what an amazing story we are going to be able to tell our grandkids!

I feel that some aren’t willing to accept the possibility of an amazing opposing team being able to shut down MT in the playoffs or the possibility of an injury to MT in the playoffs...then I have to ask, if that Scenario somehow comes to being a realistic situation, which very well can happen on any given Sunday, then what do you do now that the trade Deadline has past?

Ginn still has the speed, but no longer can create separation by route running anymore...And that is why he never gets the ball...unless it is a pure speed situation and he beats his defender. That is why majority of his catches are only when he is able to beat the defender by speed alone, not route running and creating separation.

Smith and Kirkwood are not reliable based on history of injuries.

We need a #2 and let Ginn play the slot and just burn his man every time by speed alone.

Happy with the team. As long as we have Kamara, Apple, TQS and Cook back on a decent time frame, I think we have the weapons we need. I'd imagine we'll be pretty healthy after the bye.

If you can fish out a good deal from a desperate team then, by all means, do it.

I don't want to see them throw away the future for a high priced guy that will hopefully figure it out by the time playoffs come. Even worse if it's a one-year rental or someone on a big contract that hasn't proved it on our team.

And the two biggest competitors of saints made key moves to improve on their position of need.

And this is why I feel that the Saints need to trade their 1st and 4th for AJ green and the Bengals’ 2nd.

That’s essentially trading a 4th for Green and flipping our 32nd pick for their 33rd-37th pick.

Hell, trade another 2020 pick if it means to get the deal done.

Make that trade Loomis, and pull for every team that is playing against the Bengals.

Sure would be nice to have a 2009 Lance Moore though...
