TB replaces Winston with Tom Brady and added his favorite (albeit no longer the same caliber player)safety blanket in Gronk.

Tom Brady would guide a top 5 D1 team to a 8-8 NFL record. Actually, he wouldn't. But to suggest that TB would have even a losing season in the NFL is ridiculous (not even commenting on that 1-15 silliness).This TB team is now better than some of the scrap parts Patriots teams that have won SB's.

Was it Brady that won in New England or Belichick? I guess that's what the whole split is about.
No doubt Tom was great once but Bill is a great defensive mind. I'm just saying they may finish, realistically 7 - 10

Belicheck won 11 games with Matt Cassel as a starter..

Not saying Brady isn't good, but Belicheck will be better without Brady than Brady will be without Belicheck

You do know that they are not getting the Tom Brady and Gronk of old. BTW have you looked at TB secondary, garbage!! Will they be push overs probably not, but they didn't need Gronk with Brate and OJ. I'm more interested in seeing how that turns out to be honest then playing them.

I'm not sure that TB won the offseason, they DID win the media's Off Season Hooplah award!

I think the shortened season will be better for the Saints than most other teams. Consistency on the OL. Timing w/4 of 5 top targets for Brees is just a refresher(not from scratch). DL will get back healthier(w/a later start). DB have another year together,. LB health is a ? The mind meld of Peyton/Brees.

Brady has NONE of those advantages.

It's anyone's guess right now. We'll see how a 43 yr old Brady performs in brand new system. I don't think they necessarily became instant playoff contenders because they signed two guys who are very close to hanging it up for good. I think it's smart of them to give it a shot, but I have no idea how it pans out.

All Brady has to do is to not throw as many interceptions as touchdowns and they're gonna be tough to beat.
As Far as Gronk goes, he may not be what he was, but they're better with him.

Really??...….....so you're saying that Bruce Arians and his staff are on the same level as Belichick and his staff?

The Bucs are nowhere as good as any Patriots Super Bowl team Brady and Gronk or no Brady and Gronk!!

The NFC South ain't the punchless AFC East. They could be the second best team but we'll see. TB has a meah OL and no running game. If they expect TB to stand in that pocket and wing it 30 to 40 times a game the bloom will be off that flower quick.
