Here we go again - Video shows white police officer killing a black man in Minnesota by suffocation as the man pleads "I can't breathe" (2 Viewers)

Just read that the Asian cop is Chauvin's brother in law. Haven't been able to verify though.

Bail has been set at $500,000 per CNN.

That wouldn't surprise me. Although I'm not entirely sure how that works since he's no longer employed.
They've already got the ticker running for potential back-pay , I guarantee .

Grandadmiral's story reminds me of a life event from high school that always stuck with me. Cliff's Notes; me and a friend were having a BB gun war with another buddy. He was in his upstairs bedroom that faces the street, we were behind a truck across the street, parked in a neighbor's grass.

Rich neighorhood. Our BB guns looked exactly like Glock 9mms. Cops were called. Officer never pulled his gun, never even had his hand near it. Gave us about a minute or two worth of grief.. "I could charge you with a felony" type stuff. Five minutes later we were laughing and BSing with him and talking about hunting.

As I got older and saw and heard more and more stories like the one in Minnesota or like Grandadmiral's and just generally gained worldview, I realized that "white privilege" is a thing. And that if you have any level of intellectual honesty and empathy, you have to at least acknowledge its existence.

If we were black, "laughing with the cops and talking about deer leases" would have been one of the least likely outcomes of that scenario. Certainly below "dead" or "in jail" on the probability ladder.

ETA: Buddy with me behind the truck shooting at the house is now a cop.. lmao.

Hold up. Someone calling a racist a racist is equivocal to being an actual racist? This is actually something you believe?
First of all I’m not a racist and it’s an insult, secondly I’m not trash which is another insult and finally he called me a redneck which was an attempt at an insult. He also called me jethro which he is obviously using as a stereotype. He is no better than the racist calling a black person names based on the color of their skin or where they are. But then again their are to many high and mighty people on here that don’t realize who they really are.
