"Perfect" albums (1 Viewer)

A few for me:

Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
Jeff Buckley - Grace
Rush - Moving Pictures
Fleetwood Mac - Rumors
Lynyrd Skynyrd - Lynyrd Skynyrd
The Killers - Hot Fuss (Imagine I'll get slack for this)

I agree that Killers album is great

However, I'm sure some people have others, and I'd like to see what you think. Again, Live or Greatest Hits albums DO NOT COUNT.
Perhaps the best live album I've ever heard on a number of levels -

OP says live albums DO NOT COUNT. But I'm sure you have other choices.

My wife is interning at an addiction/ recovery place and we were talking about addiction and music, and I brought up A Perfect Circle's 13th step.

We went through the whole thing, pulled up the lyrics. It's always been powerful to me, but it resonated so much more in that moment. Every song is perfect. Even the 'noise' track has more meaning than I realized.

You guys nailed most of mine, but here's a few I didn't see

Pink Floyd - The Wall
Emerson, Lake, and Palmer - Brain Salad Surgery
Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath
Black Sabbath - 13 (Crazy as this sounds, their last album became my favorite)
Metallica - Hard-wired For Destruction (Again, as crazy as this sounds, my new favorite Metallica song is Halo On Fire)

Godsmack's last album is great from start to finish.

Black Sabbath - Paranoid

Pantera - Vulgar Display of Power

Metallica - Master of Puppets

Weezer - The Blue Album

Nope.

I got it from the Detroit Lions, of all places... they used to have a QB named Joey Harrington, and he played on some of the crappiest teams in NFL history, eventually THE crappiest team ever when they lost all 16 games one year.. His teammates would talk about how, this guy, no matter how bad the team was, or how much of an underdog they were- with his attitude, you would have thought they were goIng into the next game undefeated... Said he was always just the most positive, optimistic guy no matter how high the odds were stacked against them, and that they loved going into battle with him.... and they called him ‘ Mr. Blue Skies’..... It just always spoke to me, so i tweaked the name a little (i guess with an assist from ELO) and i thought it suited me, or at least how i try to be.

He also spent a season with the Dolphin then the Falcons and his last team was the Saints 2008 behind Brees and Brunel. He was cut and resigned by the Saints about 4 or five times.

Great choice with Grace. I wouldn’t say a dude had the voice of an angel lightly but he did.

Nas - Illmatic
A Tribe Called Quest - Low End Theory
Dr Dre - Chronic

Nirvana - Nevermind
Metallica - Black Album

Stevie Wonder - Songs in the Key of Life

Gotta go with:
Boston - Boston & Don't Look Back
Rush - Moving Pictures
Zebra - Zebra
Tesla - Mechanical Resonance

Dire Straits Brothers in Arms
Liz Phair Exile in Guyville
I see Joshua Tree and Purple Rain have gotten their due
I’m a bit of a parrot head, so I could list a few of Jimmy Buffet’s albums from the ‘70s
