Will The Fans Come back after Covid? (2 Viewers)

I plan on going to a game this year, but I've had both doses of Pfizer. Honestly though I'm waiting to hear the Saints follow suit with the Bills and only let fully vaccinated people in before I make final judgement. Assuming we don't miraculously pull off herd immunity by then.

I think it'd be a PR disaster for the Saints to be honest.

Oh yeah stadiums will be packed. Just look at Miss. State vs Ole Miss baseball this past weekend. People are ready to get back to normal.

The real question is will the Superdome be the last stadium to full capacity because of the mayor.

This. I believe she recently suggested she has no current intentions or timeline to lift remaining restrictions.

Yea Fenway and Wrigley are the two major exceptions. For the first time in a while those stadiums "coziness" aren't really a selling point. Everyone is really on top of each other there, both in the seats and the concourses.
In houston there is always plenty of breathing room. Hardly anyone supports team, even when they are doing well. When i lived in Houston would go to thd Astrodome and Mintemaid park a few times a year whenever the Angels or Cardinals would come to town.

Astros games have been packed for the past 5 years or so.

As far as shot requirements, social distancing, etc....the Southwest flight I was on the other night was full to the gills. No vaccine passports or anything, and I was fine with that. If the Saints try to require proof of vaccinations, this will be my last season as a ticket holder, which stretches back to the first year of the Superdome. I'll just sell my tickets/rights to my tickets, and move on.

Wouldn't Covid card be an invasion of medical privacy.

Well, ticket sales will not be affected because people do not want to lose their season tickets. Whether I actually attend depends on the existence of mitigation mandates. I have been fully vaccinated. But I am not going to attend if I have to wear a mask. And I am one who follows mask mandates. But I cannot imagine going to a game and wearing a mask the entire time. I would rather watch on TV.

Failcon’s fans won’t be packing the stadium.
Saints fans most definitely will.

Heck, I’m thinking of flying in, from Denver, for a couple games next season.

This is not HIPPA, and the league would be asking (consent) you for your medical info as a private entity. I don't know what will happen in this current political environment but at least 9 colleges have committed to requiring covid vaccines to be required for students to return in the fall and most colleges already had a requirement that students must provide proof of vaccinations (I think smallpox and maybe polio) to remain enrolled.

Meningitis is another big one.

I don't know if people are unaware or are just acting like they don't know but there have always been things we've had to provide proof of immunization for. Schools and colleges are the big ones but travelling outside the country is another one. Providing proof of COVID vaccination wouldn't be some new, unprecedented requirement. What's (relatively) new is people's hesitancy to take the vaccine. This isn't our first time rolling out mass vaccinations.

Depends on whether or not I lose my seats to the renovations...

Sammy, in your post #38 above you've incorrectly attributed a post to me, which was actually posted by DerrickB. Kindly correct when you have a moment.

I couldn’t get rid of it because it is impossible to get rid of quote boxes once they are opened. If you really want it removed you’ll have to ask Andrus.

Correction: You can't remove the box on smartphone (Iphone at least) but you can delete it on desktop. I made the edit.
