I think this is just postering for a huge payday with Michigan.

I think Harbaugh will get 10 Mill a year in the NFL.I think this is just postering for a huge payday with Michigan.
I don't know if anyone can take them farther than they did this year. Unless Michigan goes crazy with NIL money then the Big Ten will continue to be Ohio State and then everyone else. That’s what getting your butt kicked by OSU every year (except this past year) will do to a person. He should go back to the NFL. He won’t take Michigan any further than he did this year.

I'm probably in the minority but I think Captain Comeback is just a bit overrated. He's done well in college but he's never been close to winning a championship. With the 49ers he inherited one of the most loaded rosters in the league. They had Pro Bowlers up and down the roster but they couldn't win it all.

We're talking about the same franchise that gave the former coach total power and a 10-year deal. There's a real possibility he's peaked at Ann Arbor, so why not try and match his brother and get an SB ring. Also, coming in the door with an established QB and team that just made the playoffs is pretty attractive.Jim is a burnout waiting to happen. Wherever he goes or stays, the inevitable will happen. It's just a matter of time.
He's better off in the college ranks where he doesn't have to answer to an NFL GM or an owner. College ADs are milquetoast by comparison.
While all true, it doesn't change the fact that he's an absolute a-hole.We're talking about the same franchise that gave the former coach total power and a 10-year deal. NIL can’t help. The SEC is supreme and players know where the big dogs play. In fact, NIL is making the SEC stronger. Hardbaugh knows that. Hardbaugh needs a change. He knows how coach and he somehow connects with his team. I think he would be a great fit for the Raiders. Lots of temptations in Vegas obviously, so I think he can keep those players grounded to an extent.I don't know if anyone can take them farther than they did this year. Yeah no doubt. Those were some good 49er teams and he was obviously a big part of that success. But they couldn't seal the deal. Harbaugh is a good coach but I've never bought into his legendary status.Harbaugh's stint with the Niners was one of the most successful in franchise history, and his . 688 winning percentage from 2011 through 2014 ranks second best and only behind former head coach George Seifert.
It is not so much burnout as it is Jim wears out his welcome. He is not an easy person to work for/with. Trust me.I have been impressed with Harbaugh as a coach, not just at Michigan, but at all of his stops. He burns out, but before he does he lifts those programs out of the trash. USD, Stanford, 49ers, Michigan. They all required a lot of heavy lifting to get them to where they were when he left, and he typically leaves things better than when he found them.
The burn out has to do with administrations not being familiar with success such as what he brought them. Michigan is a great spot for him because they want to build a winner, and they are giving him flexibility for days. I hope he sticks it out because Rome wasn’t built in a day, and Michigan has a few more years before they are fully accepted as a National Championship threat.
I’m not doubting what you are saying is true. He probably wears out his welcome rather quickly. The man wants to have success at any cost.It is not so much burnout as it is Jim wears out his welcome. He is not an easy person to work for/with. Trust me.
