Landry trying to recruit OBJ? (1 Viewer)

He had his chance last year when we needed him. He chose LA. The wrong LA. Sorry OBJ

Can you blame him for wanting to catch passes from Stafford over the Siemen/Hill cluster combo? Considering he got a Superbowl Ring and was on his way to being the Superbowl MVP before his injury I'd say he made the right choice.

Well it didn't with him and Landry in Cleveland.

Key word: "Cleveland."

I mean, I think coaches would think our WR depth is decent now. Adding OBJ forces out a good WR like Calloway. It’s an awesome idea, just don’t know if the staff sees it the same

OBJ would obviously be a luxury signing since he's not going to be available for awhile. As of the current roster we don't even have a spot for him. Obviously, that could change a few weeks into the season due to injuries. But hasn't he had major injuries 2 of the last 3 seasons?

I doubt Beckham will be healthy enough to be of value next season.

It would be worth a veteran minimum salary with incentives.

He suffered his injury on February 13. Even when he is able to play, you would think it would take a while for him to get back to full ability.

If he is only available for late regular season or playoffs, then his signing is worth it.

His championship experience will be very valuable. If you look around locker room, that is only thing missing. Knowing what it takes to win.

This forum's yawning need for WRs.

We draft a clear cut #1. "Moar WR!" they cried.

We draft a top-12 #2. "Moar WR!" we hear yet again (and again, and again)

We sign a tailor-made slot #3. And still they cried out "Moar WR!"

It's a deep seated problem with the SSF psyche. Is it caused by all those dreadful passing offenses we had in the early 90s?

(Looking forward to the 'in case of injury' and 'improving the roster' chat that will inevitably come back)

Doubt it happens but that would be potentially unstoppable. MT, OBJ, Landry, Olave. We don't even need a TE at that point.
I don't know if it happens but watching most of the playoff teams last year being loaded at WR made me really jealous.

If Beckham did sign with us for a discount like Landry did then that would be something unreal to be THAT team others are jealous of. I'd love it!
