Saints Training Camp Updates 7-28-22 (1 Viewer)

Does this fall into the “the less you hear about them the better” situations that you expect with offensive linemen?
There is just not a lot of full contract drills or 1v1 drills that we tend to hear about... Still playing in shorts.
I guess the nub still qualifies as a pinky.
Looks they cut all the back to the metacarpal bone. The phalange is gone.

The nub appears to be the Metacarpophalangeal joint.

Perhaps that is the sufficient amount of linebackers for the types of offenses we will be facing.

Bucs: Godwin, Evans, Julio
Panthers: Moore, Anderson, Marshall
Falcons: Trash, Trash, Pitts
True, the days of playing a 4-3 or 3-4 the majority of the time are probably over. We'll be in the nickel a lot, but we do need depth. I think Kwon would fit well as depth. And agree with an earlier poster, I think(hope) that we'll sign him towards the end of camp.

I'd rather people keep calling me a "bust" than amputate an extremity that can heal on its own just so people can call me "dedicated".

It's a contract year for him. He made a life decision to amputate his finger hoping to secure himself financially for years to come.

I read a lot of criticism when he was drafted. Read a lot of criticism when he got injured. Even someone here said they forgot that he was on the roster. But I posted before that this guy has the potential to be very good to great. He has the tool. Very long wing span, stronger lower body, plays lower to the ground. His first game, you saw what he is capable of. He made moves that only elite veterans make. Keep in mind that this his first training camp. Didn't really have one last year due to injuries. His injury did hampered him and first year was cut short. He didn't participate in OTAs and minicamp. The criticisms continued. But the only thing he needs to do is to stay healthy. That will silent some doubters out there.

Man, Jets fans have a hard on for him, and they think they are building a winner.
I know the Giants have been horrible for a decade, but they’ve at least done it. They have Parcells. They have Coughlin. It doesn’t make sense why someone would pick the Jets over the Giants when the Giants have that history.
All the Jets have is hope.

After pinning our WR play on one player for multiple seasons and that one player gets injured and the offense falls off a cliff.

I ain't playing. I want true depth at every position possible.

Some of the video tweets seem far away (or my eyes are getting bad). Are they not allowed to film the plays up close?
A lot of the work today might’ve just been on the far field. I know they like to alternate between the two fields to avoid one from getting chopped up from too much use in a short period of time.
