Actually I have 1A and 1B. 1A is no trading up, let the draft fall and take advantage of players you thought would be gone but are there on your pick. 1B In the 5th thru 7th round take players that are household names that play for big schools instead of trying to pull a rabbit out of the hat with guys that end up out of the league in a year.Michigan, Alabama, Ohio State, LSU etc.If not for UDFAs, we have been pretty bad lately at the back end of the draft.

But what about the Colston's and Ware's

There are so many good players that don’t go to those top schools.

A guy like Viliami Fehoko out of San Jose state who initially went to a big school, maybe LSU…

Keaton Mitchell out of East Carolina who is quick and blazing fast.

Another RB McBride who is big and agile.

OT Nick Saldiveri from Old Dominion can play guard also and has a high RAS score.

Grant Dubose wide receiver from Charlotte runs great routes and can catch.

Jonah Tavai DT San Diego State had like 50 pressures and 10 sacks.

I guess you would have passed on Jerry Rice out of Mississippi Valley State?

Rounds 5 thru 7 are such long shots. I wouldn't begin to hold who they draft against them.

And yeah, if a guy they like falls, they will trade up. It's what they do.

Nothing’s wrong with trading up for a ‘can’t miss’ known prospect who can start from day 1/contribute right away at a position of need and won’t be available at our pick.
It’s the small-school, mid-projected raw athletes that makes it ridiculous (Davenport, Trautman).
