I love all the 20/20 hate for anyone who ever mentioned the possibility of Kamara doing jail time now that he bought his way out of a felony conviction. Just because that didn't happen doesn't make people (like me) who saw it as a possibility a-holes.

I don't think anyone is hating anyone on this thread. It's just that for months we've had people saying that he will 100% do time for this. It seemed like people were actively rooting for the "thug" to do jail time for this "despicable act". Like what he did was just so far beyond the pale that he had to do time. Most of us were like what? He beat up a dude and he'll pay said dude a lot of money and that'll be it. We've seen this movie so many times before but the ending was going to be different this time.

Add to that the fact that we had people swearing up and down that they had seen the video and said that AK will absolutely go to jail months before any video was released. The people that saw this mysterious video made it seem like AK beat him down, poured gas on his twitching body, and then delivered a cold blooded one liner before lighting a match and dropping it on the poor guy. Then the video comes out and it's nothing like that. Like not even close. You could barely make out what was happening.

So many people turned on AK so quickly. I just wonder how they are going to handle it when he scores 3 TDs and dominates a game. Will they cheer for him or will they sit on their hands because they have morals and AK let them down?

Disagree. They were both face to face before any blows were thrown. Greene chose to run away. Alvin stood ground. Greene had the choice to stand ground as well, but we know why he didn’t .

This. From what was publicly released, I never saw anything conclusive about the specifics of Kamara's involvement other than that he was present when Greene was being kicked.

Also never heard audio which I could positively ID as his voice, including the limo recording.

So they were face to face briefly, Kamara gave him a shove then whoever the other individual was smacked him then it was everybody attacking the guy. AK looked like he got a couple of punches in and the other guys stomped the sheet out of him.

Victim never had a chance to retaliate or even defend himself.

That said, vic really shouldn't have been up in their business and just left.

Because it was kept confidential as part of the plea. If you think all this guy got is 105K from the beating he took, then IDK what to tell you. I guess we can all believe what we want.

the ones who are getting blasted aren't the ones who mentioned possibility of jail time. it's the ones who were adamant that he was gonna get it because the law said xxx. when most people here were on the side of he was gonna plea down, but also knew there was a small possibility of jail time.
