Are we going to talk about that thing that no one's talking about (1 Viewer)

That is exactly what I am saying, getting shot in the ear should kill someone. The pop pop pop pop after sounded like an air-gun or paintball gun, like perhaps there was one truly aimed shot and then a bunch of fast shots. My other thought was some sort off poison dart, but that just sounds too spy movie.

The AP picture of Trump with a bloody nose and his fist raised, American Flag in the back-ground almost looks staged, but will now be on T-Shirts, posters, NFTs, and any manner of other merchandise. I am glad the reports are he is fine. I had CNN on as I tried to take an afternoon nap and was rattled awake, so please excuse me if I appeared short or without care.
Well, now it's murder.

I’m going to bet that history makes the shooter into an epic what if story. Up there with what if Brees signed with the Dolphins.
I heard the shooter had a copy of The Art of the Deal under his arm.

But that's just it, it's not about being productive, it's about venting a human emotion. If you only wanted to talk about something "productively", you would post a whole lot less.

First of all, that’s a quality zinger. Well done.

I suppose your first comment was accurate - I’m not sure what I feel about it. I think I have become numb to shootings, it’s just the reality of living through grotesque shooting after grotesque shooting and nobody ever trying to do anything about it. It dulls the response.

I think it’s horrible, I think it’s terrible for our country and I’m thankful it appears to be minor. Beyond that I have mixed emotions about whether continued tolerance of violent and inflammatory rhetoric in a country with more guns than residents isn’t the best recipe for peace. And my feelings about that are rather acute.

For one thing, does it not stir thoughts about other non-deadly political shootings? Gabby Giffords, Steve Scalise, Reagan, Ford (twice), Wallace. We could talk about that.

We could talk about the JFK and RFK assassinations.

Certainly there are other things that can be discussed besides gun control (which is always nonproductive these days)

False .

You mean #fakenews . What I meant by "before" is from 2016 to now.

Also I referenced all of those other ones in another post, just not the 1865 one. I have yet to see the video of that one, so. See also: 1881 and 1901

And I would like one.
