Are you into fashion? (1 Viewer)

Into fashion? I can’t even remember if the socks are supposed to match the shoes or the pants!
It's pretty simple unless you wear wild colors. If you wear black slacks, wear black shoes and black or or maybe gray socks. Same with tan or brown. Don't mix the browns and blacks. Now if you are are a suit and tie with sneakers kind of guy, I really don't know what to tell you, I just don't understand that one.
It's perfectly fine not to know these things, or even remember them, I have been explaining clothing and colors to my husband for 35 years.

I do know the shoes should match the belt because my father told me so. He also told me there is one tuxedo color, and that is black. When I went to my high school prom in 1979 many wore white, powder blue, and even yellow tuxes. Two buddies of mine and I were the only 3 in black and dad said "You, Jed, and Glenn will be the only ones able to look at prom pictures in 10 years and not be embarrassed as hell" One of my friends wore a white tux with top hat and tails and dad told him "I had no idea the circus was in town"

The ruffled shirts really set off those powder blue tuxedoes

I styled my wedding a lot on my parents' 1950's wedding when white dinner jackets were a thing. So I made my husband and the groomsmen wear it. I hoped to start a trend. I didn't.

Also my husband had bought his own jacket and tux pants for "formal night" on our honeymoon cruise. He looked like a waiter.

This isn't "interests", this is about her wanting to look good for you and you appreciating that.

Unless she's asking you to write an article for WWD.

That's fine and all but I think that the opinion of the vast majority of men the vast majority of the time is "Whatever you want to wear is fine"

I don't know, I can tell when he really likes what I wear and appreciates the effort I put into getting ready. If I look just OK, he says you look fine, and that's alright with me.

Shoes match the belt. Socks match the shirt. I am definitely a fan of classic style myself.
