He just not what I’d be looking for in a starting qbYea I like Jake but I always feel like he’s a pick machine waiting to happen.

You and the entire league for about 10 years now.Sucks he is hurt but i have never seen a a non mobile QB throw so much on their back foot than i have Carr in the last few weeks and early last year. He literally needs a clean pocket or he reverts to throwing off his back foot. It also sets him up for injury. Do we not still have a qb coach to keep him in check with mechanics? That would probably be an awesome way for Gruden to get back into football. Am i the only one noticing the throws off the back foot?

You are not the only one that notices. The problem is that he is under a lot of pressure and is waiting for routes to develop until the very last second. He knows how to do it. He doesn't have enough time to do what they are asking so he's modifying his own play to adapt to what is in front of him. If he didn't wait that long nobody would be where they were supposed to be.Sucks he is hurt but i have never seen a a non mobile QB throw so much on their back foot than i have Carr in the last few weeks and early last year. Is this a laugh or cry post? Maybe I need more vodkaIt will be hard for me to sleep tonight with worry.
?. Just saying maybe Carr needs to go back to the basics. O line is not always going to create a clean pocket on their own, it’s an orchestry. We know Brees was a master at foot work and Gruden always marveled at that and he also taught it. If you’re blaming the offensive line for his woes then you are basically saying he is in Daniel Jones territory. I have seen him play with good mechanics in the pocket while being rushed. It’s possible but he is inconsistent. Not blaming the offensive woes on him at all but just a glaring thing i see. It is definitely tied to the oline injuries but throwing on your backfoot out of habit is a no no.Was it really necessary to copy and paste this exact post and start a new thread with it?
Enough with the Gruden blah blah blah. Gruden hasn't been a QB whisperer in the league in a long time. Right now, he's just another armchair QB living off his past.
You'd be throwing off your back foot too if on every play it was a jail break. SMH
Who is Jayden Daniel and what of his are we trading?Trade of Jayden Daniel’s. Carr, kamara and first round pick.
I’ll have whatever they’re having!Trade of Jayden Daniel’s. Carr, kamara and first round pick.
I mean, if DC4 misses the game, then why the heck not?!?!
Is that a Rattlesnake PEZ dispenser?
Yes. The other night, @Infoman was on a roll (and like a quarter of a bottle of bourbon in) and he dubbed Rattler Spencer the Dispenser. Ergo...Is that a Rattlesnake PEZ dispenser?
