Carr's Oblique Injury is on the Left Side (Merged) (3 Viewers)

Carr is going to play. He always does. How effective he will be is another question.

I dont think that will yield the results people believe it will...

This team is beat up, especially the O-Line, and I don't think you want to subject a rookie project QB to that...especially one who is fighting an uphill battle already by simply being a 5th rd pick.

He needs time to develop, because he isn't ready.

The arm talent is there, the charisma is there, the ability to move in the pocket is there...but the mental aspect is probably still pretty far behind..And throwing him to the wolves like that will only hurt his chances of making it in this league.

I'm a fan of Rattler. I believe he could very well have what it takes to be a good player in this league.

But not now.
Not this year.
Not behind this banged up line.

Maybe not next week but if Carr is isn't going to be healthy again this year we're probably going to end up with another high pick. We need to see what we have in Rattler to find out if we need to be in the QB market or not. I'd really like for him to suit up next year but if we find a guy in the draft we need to pull the trigger if Rattler aint it.

When was it the last time a New Orleans Saints QB made it through the season unscathed? 2018?
