I don’t know what everyone wants from DA, I mean, after games 3 & 4, everyone complained about the defense blowing a lead in the last minute of a game. Problem solved.

Ok, seriously, Dennis Allen just does not have it. He may be a smart guy, he just does not have what it take to be the leader of a team on the NFL level.

It's time. He needs to go. Whatever it takes. A lot of us have been screaming this for 2 seasons now.

He got his preferred QB. Didn't change anything.

He got his preferred OC. Didn't change anything.

Part of building a competent team is having depth at key positions. Injuries are no excuse. If the backups are a huge dropoff that is also on the coach/FO.

Even the most basic football fan knows games are won in the trenches, but Allen and Co have allowed our O line and D line to deteriorate to the point of having a completely broken team on both sides of the ball. This is football 101 and totally unacceptable.

As others have said, if the defense isn't good then what is the point of him?

Also, go check last years defense. they also weren't that good, but had the advantage of playing against many backup QB's and really bad offenses.

I think he can easily find a job as a DC somewhere so he can still make a living. He will be fine.

Kubiak is the heir apparent, fire DA, promote Woods to DC and Kubiak to HC.....

Don’t disagree with this sentiment, but unfortunately I think Loomis is as much to blame for all of this….and he likely isn’t going anywhere….

At 2-5 the season isn’t over but the D played like it was in the 2nd half….inexplicable…..and the injury excuse no longer flies…..I never thought DA was a leader of men, and some on this board didn’t seem to think that was important in a HC (Kubiak will fix everything!!!!) what BS that appears to be now….but, whatever, sometimes things change and I don’t think Loomis will fire him during the season, we will see what happens…..

They have a game in three days, not enough time to fire him this week. If they lose Thursday though…

…they probably still won’t make a change, but we’ll see.

What’s really frustrating is, it was obvious two years ago that he (still) wasn’t head coach material, and that we’d be spinning our wheels until they made a change. And here we sit (and spin).

You can fire Allen but unless Loomis goes as well he's just going to replace him with another "yes man" and he'll continue to run the franchise into the ground.

I don't think this organization fires coaches in the middle of the season, similar to the PC issue last year, we may have to wait this year out.

There's just no reason for him being a Head Coach in the NFL. Trade any player who wants tp play for a winner. IR Carr and let Rattler play.
