Holy sheet. I cried in the first 15 minutes. This season is building to something. This is actually the most violent daredevil yet (maybe still 2nd to Punisher scenes). And I don't think it's even started.

I had to restart because I couldn't believe what I just saw.
Well, we are spoiled a bit by the original. And they're building a new story, reintroducing old characters and introducing new ones. So it's gonna take time to see where this goes. And the dialogue, like the original, was thoughtful and well-timed. The acting is superb.I am enjoying it but I’d like to see the pace get picked up a bit. I’m invested in DD after loving the Netflix series but I could see how a new watcher could lose interest pretty soon. Or maybe I’m just spoiled by the original.
You're spoiled. The first two episodes were awesome.I am enjoying it but I’d like to see the pace get picked up a bit. I’m invested in DD after loving the Netflix series but I could see how a new watcher could lose interest pretty soon. Or maybe I’m just spoiled by the original.
I wonder if Karen will come back into the picture. Both Foggy and Karen just making cameos in the first episode will piss me off...lol.
The CGI was not the best in the first scene and I don’t think they nailed the DD swinging parts yet. I like DD as a fighter not as a Temu spiderman.Well, we are spoiled a bit by the original. I think I understand one poster who said this one doesn't feel as grimy. I think this one is just as violent if not moreso. But, I also think what may contribute to the different feel it is there's an almost comic bookish feel to the action. Like when Daredevil first appears and is in action, the movements and action have a slightly different feel. The original felt more fluid and even realistic. Hard to put my finger on exactly what it is.
Anyway, holy sheet, that first action packed scene was awesome...and heartbreaking. Wtf...Foggy? Ugh. Loved the guy. The fight with Dex/Bullseye was awesome. Ben Urich's niece BB looking like she'll be a thorn in Fisk's side could be an interesting thread. Fisk trying to shed the Kingpin title in order to become mayor less to some good dialogue. Some buy it, and others definitely not so much. Others like the staffer praising Fisk just try to get on his radar to impress him.
The dialogue between Fisk and Matt at their first meeting was thoughtfully done. The end of the 2nd episode left me wanting more. Can't wait to see how the rest of the show plays out and I wonder if Karen will come back into the picture. Both Foggy and Karen just making cameos in the first episode will piss me off...lol.
The original Netflix series had various slow spots each season. The always had a slow burn, emotional, dramatic flare. Lots of gaps in action.I am enjoying it but I’d like to see the pace get picked up a bit. That initial rooftop DD CGI was the only miniscule gripe as well, I don't remember that being a thing in the Netflix show, and it being Disney, you'd think that they would have more $$ than Netflix, and we've seen amazing CGI in other Disney Marvel/SW offerings, but I don't know what DD's budget is though...The CGI was not the best in the first scene and I don’t think they nailed the DD swinging parts yet. The last action scene was very good.

Episode 3 was very good. Liked the courtroom stuff. But man... talking about coquis, and the ending. That hits home.
