I didn't know it, but the internets say that the cancer treatments ended long before the dikey look and the popping off in St. Louis. How Kurt Warner went from the unknown sensation who ran the greatest show on turf - to out of St. Louis not long afterwards is a mystery. Some say the wife was a factor.

And while Kurt had a resuurection 8 years after that, he was pretty mediocre and never a set starter with Giants or the Cardinals.

Was he really so loved? I may have to differ with the pimple-faces who write up that bleacher-report stuff.
