18,000 to 20,000 Eagles fans in New Orleans??? {just a rumor - merged}

From what I saw downtown today, 5K would be tops. I'd expect 3,500 or something like that. The logistics simply aren't there to accommodate anything more than that.

This is truly the funniest post ever! There's not a snowball's chance in hell that will be 19 to 20K fan in the dome from Philly. Not going to happen! I do hope however that those many show up and spend money though. I would welcome them into my business establishment if I had one! NOLA will still show them a good time. They will have nothing to celebrate though!

As many have stated, there will be maybe 2,000-3,000 Eagles fans tops and many of those will be standing at the top of the Dome. I would not be surprised though, if there were only 500 Eagles fans in the Dome.

I could believe that that many could be in New Orleans and even AT the Dome, but IN the Dome with a ticket is a different story entirely.
