2021 CFB Prospects to Follow (1 Viewer)

Bailey Zappe is on pace for over 6000 passing yards and 60 tds to pass Joe Burrow's records.

He threw for 577 yards and 4tds last night.

Even if the saints lose out, at the current pace they will likely fall to no higher than a 10-15 pick.

The best value In that range is currently at QB (Malik Wills or Carson Strong),

WR (Burks, London, Olave, Wlison, Williams)

and TE ( Trey McBride)

with the exception of CB Andrew Booth Jr..

Personally, My preference is Burks, McBride, or London.

I love Willis and Strong but I'm confident in Winston and would prefer a QB later for Depth like Bailey Zappe, Hendon Hooker or Aiden O'Connell who has experience in a high volume passing attack while maintaining a 70% or better completion percentage and above 160 an rating.

See, that means he's slow.
Look at what his form teammate Michael Pittman Jr is doing in Indy at similar height and size.

In fact, London is physically a carbon copy of former Trojan wr Keyshawn Johnson at 6'5 210.

Daniel Faalele

6'9 400lbs OG/RT prospect

I can't believe how athletic this guy is at that size. He gets off the line and makes second line blocks and pancakes. Some serious mass and arse as Payton likes to say haha

Good players, but the Saints are perpetually top 5 in run defense. And Davis doesn’t offer much in pass defense. I think it’d be a luxury pick when we don’t even have the basics. We need receiver help…if that doesn’t happen it’ll be a failed offseason.
There is no possible way WR is ignored this offseason. It may or may not be the first rounder that fans are envisioning , but at minimum will be additions through FA and draft picks addressing both WR and TE.

Personally, I'm content with Bringing Winston Back but if they want more depth and competition next year my favorites are below.

Draft qbs For the Saints I Like:

1)Malik Willis, Liberty
2)Carson Strong, Nevada
3)Hendon Hooker, Tennessee
4)Stetson Bennet, UGA
5)Bailey Zappe, WKU

Trade candidates I would look into are Tyler Huntley and Jacob Eason.
Thanks for your response I always enjoy reading your input. We are on the same page then, my best strategy looking at this class is bringing Jameis back and bolstering this WR core and adding an athletic route running TE

Some bargain bin sleeper wrs from Bruce Feldman's annual freaks list 2021 edition are

Tanner Conner of Idaho St.-6-3 236lb wr with a 40+ inch vertical, 4.5 40 and set the big sky record in the 60m hurdle.

Similar athletic profile as Marques Colston. Worth keeping an eye on.

Tyler Harrell of Louisville at 6'0 194 only has 14 catches this year but averaged over 31 ypc for over 400 yards and 5tds.

Harrell supposed ran a 4.19 hand timed 40.

He's on Feldman's freak list too.

#29 or something, I think.
