2023 Schedule Release Leak-O-Rama [FINAL SCHEDULE IN FIRST POST] (1 Viewer)

It's been reported that our Jacksonville game is going to be a TNF game. Does that leave only Tennessee as our possible home opener? Or will we have 3 straight away games to open the season?

Week 1, GB plays the Bears and Lions play the Chiefs.
Seems kind of like a lock now that it'll be vs TENN. Would be strange as hell to open on the road 3 straight times.

Want to know when we play the patriots so I can book a room, but the stupid hiltons all around the stadium have all the nfl weekends blacked out right now. They want to know when to charge more first I guess....

Let's get it on!…. From saintsreport.com, it is the 2023 schedule leak-o-rama!

Official Release Date/Time - Thursday, May 11 at 7pm CT

As always, some media members and other personnel get advance copies of the team schedules and love to drop tidbits of schedule information prior to the official release.

Feel free to post any tidbits of info you can find off official/unofficial sites from the Saints, our opponents, or other media sites. Please cite your source if possible. As usual, some sources are definitely more reliable than others.

I will attempt to compile any (credible) leaks in this post and see how much of the schedule we can learn prior to the actual release sometime this week. Every year, we have the schedule correct prior to the actual release by the NFL.

Usual disclaimer: SR is not affiliated with the Saints or the NFL so no information posted in this thread should be considered to be a "league source".

Home: Carolina, Atlanta, Tampa Bay, Chicago, Detroit, Jacksonville, NY Giants, Tennessee
Away: Carolina, Atlanta, Tampa Bay, Green Bay, Houston, Indianapolis, LA Rams, Minnesota, New England

Sept 10: Week One
Sept 18: at Carolina (MNF)
Sept 24: at Green Bay

Oct 1: Week Four
Oct 8: Week Five
Oct 15: Week Six
Oct 22: Week Seven
Oct 29: Week Eight
Nov 5: Week Nine
Nov 12: at Minnesota
Nov 19: Week Eleven
Nov 26: Week Twelve
Dec 3 Week Thirteen
Dec 10: Week Fourteen
Dec 17: NY Giants
Dec 24: Week Sixteen
Dec 31: Week Seventeen
Jan 7: Week Eighteen
So that leaves Chicago, Tennessee, Jacksonville, Detroit for week 1 at home. So basically Jack or Tenn for Week 1

Falcons @ Saints in Week 18

The Saints will also play the Falcons in Atlanta on Sunday, Nov. 26. Kickoff for the Week 12 game is at noon.

Here comes the schedule makers NY Jets & Aaron Rodgers love fest. I don’t think it’ll end up like Bucs/Brady marriage.
Don't underestimate the ability of the Vegas/NFL machine to fix enough games to get the Jets into the playoffs or even the Super Bowl. The Bucs weren't anywhere near being the best team, yet they somehow managed to crawl into the Super Bowl that year. The Super Bowl was the only game in the playoffs where they actually even played well that year.

Yes, I'm still jaded from the Rams fix and I won't ever be cured.

Of course, the NFL may not like the Jets enough to pull that many strings for them, even with their darling Rodgers as the Jets' QB.

I think schedule makers are going crazy for the Bears because they no longer have AR to deal with. Also they are playing the NFC South which is going to be a mostly bad division. It seems their off-season has been hyped up as well. They may have a floor of six or seven wins but not a high ceiling.
why the love fest for bears?

I still believe it’s because it’s a Chicago team and the NFL is trying to make the networks sponsors happy……big market.
