This season they haven’t done either very well. Very sad for a defending champion.

It's a rather astounding drop off. You don't usually see a complete bomb after a championship. Sure, you might not make it back, but at least you're in contention. The only thing we're sniffing is the bottom of the standings.

Tiger batters just can’t see the pitches. They only rely on guessing the pitch to be thrown. They are hopeless against any pitcher who has control of the strike zone. That’s why LSU can’t get the timely hits to advance runners and get runs on the scoreboard. This is not what will get LSU back to Omaha. Maybe not even get in the NCAAs.
