Actually wanted to make this post like 2 weeks ago afraid they would loose the minute I posted this lol ..... still undefeated...

21-0 makes these girls something special this year. Lots of experience on this team with a chance to make some noise this season. Just need to get ready for an incredibly tough SEC schedule ahead. Kentucky has been giving the Tigers all they can handle.

Today was a HUGE test for LSU, and they played some very inspired softball. They beat a really good Texas team!

Well ladies, it’s up to y’all to restore our honor today. Your male counterparts on the diamond left us looking deplorable. We could use a win over Ole Miss in Tiger Park tonight.

(Note: The game was moved to 7:00pm tonight due to the big rains earlier today.)

Game is underway. Ole Miss is proving to be a tough adversary.
The Rebels are standing in the way of the softball team vying for matching their best start ever for the program at 25-0. If the Tigers can sweep Ole Miss (must win tonight and tomorrow evening), then they will earn the best start in LSU softball history!

That would be very cool!

Tigers are struggling to get hits on Ole Miss and let the Rebels come back from being down 2-0 to tie it up in the 6th inning. The 7th inning is going to be critical because Ole Miss has got the momentum and is hitting well.

The win streak is definitely in doubt tonight.

It’s all going wrong now for LSU.
I guess it was too much to ask for a new win record to start the season.
The Tigers have a tough schedule ahead, so hopefully they learn something from this game.

It’s an error fest for the Tigers now as they are down in the 7th to Ole Miss.

It was just a bad Sunday for Tigers sports. Neither team was ready to play.
Time to start earning these high rankings.

LSU goes down 5-2 to Ole Miss.

Looks like the Tigers are going to lose the series against the Rebels. Once again the LSU pitchers can’t hold off the big hitters for Ole Miss. The LSU batters are just thinking waaaaay too much in the batter’s box. Just watching all the good pitches right through the strike zone.
Down three runs now (5-2) with just 6 outs to go.

The run scoring hits keep coming for Ole Miss.
It’s 6-2 now.
