2024 Tropical Weather Thread (1 Viewer)

Everything I am reading leads me to believe this will be a VERY active hurricane season, particularly strong in the second half of the season.

It looks like the Gulf of Mexico will likely spawn the first named tropical storm of the season. If so, it will be named Alberto, and it will be moving into the Mexican coastline. However it appears that the Texas coastline from Brownsville to Houston will receive a great impact from higher tides and relentless rain, which is expected to cause widespread flooding all along the Texas coast.

The genie is out of the 2024 bottle. :covri:

Loving the cloudiness of the past couple of days. The rain also.
I hate it for the puppies though. Had to walk them in drizzle earlier since it’s the best we have right now

On the positive side, the rain isn’t heavy enough to be a huge pain, so at least it’s keeping the Sun at bay
