2025 Senior Bowl (51 Viewers)

Deone Walker measurable are a great fit for what we need in another DT...

Kenneth Grant is another player I like as a DT for us.

It's his length at 6'7 and 35inch arms, he's almost Calais Campbell's size and Campbell mostly played End in the Cardinals 3-4 before reducing inside to DT. He could fit at NT but I'm curious if he'd have leverage issues. Either way we need to get bigger and I'd take either or.

Walker is hella athletic tho.....dare I say Walter Thomas lol

With big holes at X-WR, OG, DT, LB, & S I am hoping we trade back to to the middle of the 1st round (15th -25th pick) & pick up extra picks in the 2025 draft which would include another 2nd round pick. We need multiple players who can come in and start by the beginning of next season. Once you get out of the 2nd round it is harder to find a player that can start immediately...

I don't doubt Jeanty's ability as a RB but we need multiple players in order to turn our team around quickly!
We don't have the cap space to be able to do this through free agency.
We only can go after projects, draft failures, & old players with our limited cap...
I concur, this is a two year project. In 06 Payton added almost 40 new players via FA and draft to remodel the team. Moore won't have the luxury of FA so it'll have to come through draft and trades and you'll have to split that #. If it's done correctly we'll have added 35+ new players by start of 2026 season and most of the guys who were on the team at the end of 2024 won't be here. That's potential for 40% or more turnover.

It's an exciting time.

The stage is set for the team that finished just above the Saints in the standings to draft T-Mac with their 1st round pick just one pick ahead of the Saints! šŸ˜”

Saints NEED to trade back and get more picks!!! This is a deep draft, and the Saints a lot of help.

Yeah, I have no issue with that. It's not Jeanty or bust for me, but he will be a stud RB1 and that's tye best friend of a young QB, rebuilding team and defense.

I've did the trade back mocks many times, but you never know who or what deals are available.

Ideally, it would be great to have 12+ picks as it will help the rebuild.

With that many picks I would double dip on a few positions like DT (Walker/Black), LB, Edge, CB, OL, S, WR and a couple other positions.

We have so many hole to fill that trading back works really well for us this year!
Based their QB issues, I think the Steelers & Rams will be eager to trade with us.
We can take BPA on any of your listed positions over & over until the end of the draft...

Who are y'all kidding? Loomis only trades up. It would be ideal to rebuild the roster, but the Saints ain't trading down.
