49ers GM says they have offer of 2 second round picks for Jimmy G on the table (1 Viewer)

I would think (If true) it's The Colts or the Saints (or both)... Panthers have no 2nd rounder, every other team has already signed or traded for a QB, and he's not a notable upgrade for Atlanta to make a move like that... Seahawks are in division, so that's out.

Also, everything I have read says he will be ready by Training Camp

Seahawks being in the same Division is a perfect trade scenario. SF gains draft capitol and Seahawks gets a QB who only played in 36 out 80 games during his time at SF

Colts, Seahawks and Falcons all have 2x 2nd round picks this year. Hopefully it was one of them. It would probably be a 2nd this year and next though, so who knows. Just hope it isn't us.

I hope when DA went to visit Michael Thomas, DA brought the scenario of trading 2 2nd round picks for Jimmy G and Thomas told him what an ape shot dumb idea that was.

I would trade Ruiz to Atlanta in a heart beat

Only to see Ruiz become an all-pro Center when moved to his natural position. Do y'all remember what Andrus Peat looked like playing on the right side? They tried him at right guard and right tackle and he looked like a fish out of water.

He might not be an upgrade for Atlanta, but they may have burned their bridge with Ryan. Can't imagine he's going to be very happy there after they told him he was still their franchise QB and then tried to trade for Watson a few weeks later. Still I suspect Atlanta will be in rebuild mode this year and Ryan doesn't make sense for a project like that.

If it's anyone, it's the Colts, but I don't think anyone offered one 2nd round pick much less two for Jimmy G coming off of shoulder surgery about a week ago.

If they have an offer for (2) 2nd round picks for that walking I.R. bot...what in the world are they waiting for ?

Pull that trigger asap and close that deal before the internets kill that deal for you lol

Yeah, I think two - 2nd round picks is a bluff to get a better offer than they have received for him.
