Olave still has 2 cheaper rookie deal salaries left, including 5th year option, and 4 years younger than Samuel. I think he has multi mid round picks value at minimum.

I see it the same way. The major thing that will hurt Olave's value is obviously the injuries. But if you look at the two players and factor in age, ability, and price tag personally I think Olave is a better value. I think a playoff team that needs a WR2 would be smart to trade a mid round pick for Olave. The risk vs reward starts to make sense there. A team like the Chiefs or Bills I'd make that move in a heartbeat.

Exactly, they were one game away from the SB without him and now they add a stud WR to that offense.

They add a versatile role player who has lost time due to injuries. Let's not inflate who he is now.

Olave is worth a late 1st just like Cooks was in 202015

He (and every other player in the league) are worth exactly whatever the top offer is from other teams. That's the basic concept of a "market".

Yeah responses aren’t factoring in that young players on rookie deals require more compensation.

If it weren't for his concussion issues I would agree......despite what some think on this board, he is miles better than Cooks....but staying on the field is important.....

And for those that think that somehow Deebo set the market for all WR's with this trade that is absolute folly.....he's nearing 30 and has a huge salary....this is the type of move a team makes that thinks it's only a few key players away in the short term.....my feeling is the Commanders need to focus on their oline and secondary....both need upgrading....
