A 49ers loss allows the Saints to "essentially" control their own destiny for the playoffs (1 Viewer)

Me, too.
Here's a question, though -

In a 3-way tie scenario, if 1 of the 3 has the best conference record, and the remaining 2 have the same conference record, does the team with the best conference record advance, and the other 2 teams revert to a 2-way tiebreaker?
Or do all 3 teams go to the next step in the tiebreaker?
It would then go to the next tie breaker which is overall record vs common opponents ( for the two teams who
have the same conference record )

It would then go to the next tie breaker which is overall record vs common opponents ( for the two teams who
have the same conference record )
Is that how it works?
So if 2 teams are tied with the best conference record of the 3, the 3rd team is eliminated?
Sorry to ask another question.
No need to respond.
Thanks for your input.

Are you mentally challenged or are you dumb? Ya'll can clown me all you want. Prior to the completion week 16 games I literally posted how it could happen.
If we win out, 10-7, we are in the playoffs. There is no scenario where we aren’t. Please explain.

The Rams beating the Vikings ended the scenario where we could have finished 10-7 and out. If we win the next
three we're in.

I don't understand how it is so difficult for you clowns to understand that this thread was created before the Vikings or Eagles had even played. When this thread wasn't created 10-7 did not guarantee the Saints a playoff spot.

The post I quoted was 30 minutes old. Now what?

I've been running the playoff machine and I can't find a scenario where the Saints are out if they won out. Is that right? 9-8 would depend on a couple of things but the odds aren't too bad. If they lose this week and win last 2.
all of what you just said is correct

win out - 100% chance
lose to the Dolphins - 60-65% chance
lose to division opponent - 35-40% chance

I just want to see the one scenario where the WFT gets in. How the heck are they still alive at 6-9? Crazy.
