I'm talking about the rookie punter. How 'bout that tackle he made on the opening kick-off. There were several special teamers behind him when he got down field to make the tackle.

This has gotta be one of the best rookie crops of all-time...

Colston, Evans, Bush, Weatherford, Harper and Ninkovich (pre-injury), and Strief today all have looked really solid early on...

I wish one of our rookie corners could have turned out as well. Maybe next season we will pick up a cornerback or two.

yeah, if the coaches have been able to do this well with these rookies, it makes you wonder about guys like Josh Lay and Mike Hass. Everyone else from the draft class has stepped up when given the chance (Ninkovich seemed to be doing it in preseason).
