A microcosm of Winston’s career (1 Viewer)

Saying Carr stunk today (realistically and statistically he did) is not hating.

Honestly he has a bunch of losers scheming for and coaching him. So maybe he is not as bad as he’s looked as a Saint, but if the metrics is production and wins, he has not been good, ALL things considered.
Carr hasn't been good or consistently good.. that's for sure.

Above all though you're right.. it all falls under the umbrella of coaching no matter the QB.

That's fair. But they acting like Carr was winning the game with 3 points lol.

They won't bash Carr...they bashing Jameis.
Were you not on the GameDay thread where just about everyone was criticizing Carr? Stop making sheet up.

Carr needs to not let a TE have 10 catches and 128 yards in the first half. Cut him!
Complimentary football is real. You only score 3 with no RZ trips in the first half as an offense, You Bad.

D sucked too, but they didn’t make the O poop the bed as well.

Seriously watch the throw to perry. He rolled all the way to his left and threw it to the back corner of the endzone all the way to the other side of the field. That was just a prayer that worked out.
Yeah I agree. That was a lucky prayer that worked out there is nothing drawn up that calls for the QB to make a throw to the other side of the field like that, but in that point of the game taking a risk didn’t matter.

Winston career is predicated from instances like this where if the game is out of hand he will complete a miraculous pass that will bring you back into the game. Then when the situation is favorable he throws an interception in the most unnecessary way.

I saw a terrible defense that couldn’t get pressure. Couldn’t tackle. Couldn’t get off the field. Carr didn’t look like the issue before I turned it off.
He wasn't "the" issue I agree, defense really sucked in the first half.

But Carr isn't consistent and doesn't elevate the team imo.

He and Jameis are pretty similar honestly. Maybe Jameis makes more mistakes but the highs are probably higher as well.

Neither is really the answer.. that's pretty clear I think.

We spent $150 mil on one of them and it means we gonna kick the can for longer when neither is the answer and the good players still here are getting older. It was an awful decision to pay that money for mid at best.

That doesn’t make Winston better, especially when his HC doesn’t like him and his OC doesn’t know how to call a game with him. DA is ride or die with Carr though, which is sad cause Taysom is probably the only QB that could rescue this coaching debacle.

I'd be fine rolling with Taysom but like I posted in a different thread.. I don't think anyone can save this Dennis Allen coached team.
