The greatest roster strength going into 2024 was cornerback with Lattimore, Adebo, Taylor, and McKinstry. Going into 2025 to lose the two best players in that quartet is exactly the kind of dysfunction that has led the Saints to the be a league laughing stock. Mickey Loomis' cap management makes other teams better and ours an absurdity.

Stem cell treatments?3-1/2 months into rehabbing a broken femur and he's doing that? Must have been a hairline or some other non-displaced fracture. I never did hear the severity or whether or not they had to put a rod in. Cant imagine bouncing back that much that quick after complete break w/surgery.
Or maybe orthopedics have come a long long long way since I was 18 yrs old.
South Philly is already taken as a name, so there’s little danger of that.I for one hope we take enough of the eagles coaching staff that they start calling us sourh Philly
We seem to pay our mediocre to subpar draft picks and let the good ones go. It’s a great strategy to remain irrelevant. The FO needs to resign Adebo and invest draft picks in positions other than CB this year.i wouldn't be surprised if another team, the Eagles, swooped in and poached him while our team is in disarray. Setting us back another year and having to draft a replacement. With that said, sign him Saints!
Does anyone think we find a way to keep Adebo, or does he become a cap casualtyWe seem to pay our mediocre to subpar draft picks and let the good ones go. It’s a great strategy to remain irrelevant. The FO needs to resign Adebo and invest draft picks in positions other than CB this year.
Lots of people called Hendrickson a cap casualty, but there are always choices to be made and the well run teams can usually find ways to keep their best players. It’s pretty clear now that DA didn’t value Hendrickson, so the team let him go. It was a misevaluation, and it’s too easy to call misevaluations cap casualties. I hope the same thing doesn’t happen with Adebo.Does anyone think we find a way to keep Adebo, or does he become a cap casualty
Still have Taylor and McKinstry on rookie deals. Scout sites are saying this draft is deep in DB talent. I agree I would like to re-sign Adebo, and would not be disappointed if they do. But, coming off his injury, the limited cap room, and need vs value, it's best to let him walk and try to draft a replacement. With our CAP situation, I feel like it’s better to let him go and for the Saints to move on. Take whatever comp pick we get and use it in the rebuild.
I think he’s an above average CB but when you add in his next contract we’re probably better off spending our tight dollars elsewhere and betting that our scouts can land a young talented CB prospect to mix in with that group.
In a better CAP world we could resign him but that’s not the case right now.
Yeah plus Malcolm Jenkins and Patrick RobinsonPlayers in general...didn't they win one w/ Sproles?
