Bad news is our offense is allergic to the redzone really bad. Good news is no other NFC South team looks better at all. Maybe the TB game goes different if Carr was a little healthier and we stop Mayfield’s runs.

The division looks like it’ll be matching wins and losses with each other every week again like last season. We can still take the division if we have the guts to make changes in playcalling, big if.

Mayfield injured his left hand today and could be missing a few weeks.

Not only the NFC south but the entire NFC, with exceptions of Niners, Lions, and Eagles, and TB by just one game even have a winning record right now.

edit: Forgot about Dal but they could lose to Chargers tonight.

Every team in the NFCS:

I have watched each of the teams thru the beginning of the season… not complete games, but I’ve watched every team, every week for a while since the start.

The Bucs are the best team in the NFCS.
Mayfield is the best QB, and they have the best defense.

The Falcons are next. Stellar run game, solid defense… and slightly above average coaching.

Saints are clear 3rd. Worst coaching staff in the entire NFL. No offense… less than no offense in the red zone. Decent defense (as long as the QB can’t run).

Then the Panthers… but I’d switch places with the Panthers right now if given the chance. At least Bryce Young has potential. Carr is trending down, and the rest of the Saints roster is aging, save for a few young bright spots (Granderson, Bresee, Shaheed).

Still rooting for us to magically figure it out. Maybe fire a couple of guys and light a fire out of nowhere, but my hope is getting bleak.

Looking like 7-10 again.

Just enough for DA to keep his job.

Hopefully, the bottom completely falls out..

…because 7-10 changes nothing! They may even keep DA!!!!

Saints need to finish 5-12 or worse to guarantee change in the front office and coaching staff…. And that’s what’s needed to really get better.

They need a new QB, new coaching staff, and new attitude from top to bottom.
