Saints All Saints RBs OUT Sunday due to close contact (MERGED) (2 Viewers)

Man we got some really stupid players. The Saints deserve whatever is coming there way, it's becoming quite obvious they simply don't give a sheet about anything but themselves.
It's from 2018.

Guys are wearing the same outfits in the video Marshon posted.

Shon should have timestamped it though. He knows fans are going to freak out lol

So no RBs, No starting WR's & no starting FS's...

Ah yeah I might not even bother getting on the plane.

Question... with the other RBs hitting the COVID list... does that mean they are out for 10 days as well? Does their 10 day window start on Thursday like Kamara’s did?

...or could they return sooner w/out a positive test?

...or are we looking at another Julius Jones/Ladell Betts playoff game?

The NFLPA needs to get with the program and allow bubbles, otherwise we're going to see more of this in the playoffs and possibly the SB. If Covid really messes with the playoffs, a lot of fans will pretty much asterisk this season if they don't get to the SB because of Covid.
I have a question, it makes me wonder..do you think teams would lie about a positive? Lets say Aaron Rodgers or Mahomes tests positive. How does the NFL know every test is legit? I'm curious to know. Brady were test positive, he's a known cheater.

Any one of those teams would be done without their QB. I can see the Packers lying or even the Bucs lying.

No, I believe close contacts is different. As long as they continue testing negative, they'll be good for the next game after tomorrow.

Ok, I work nights and two days in a row I got off work went home, went to bed, and then wake up to bad news alerts on my phone.
I don’t like that so tomorrow morning when I get off work I will not be going to bed so that should break this bad news cycle.

I do believe players are tested at least twice in the event of a positive test to rule out a false positive. And I don't think they would risk lying about a positive. If the player infects their teammates, and potentially other team's players, they could be subject to not only league action, but also legal exposure. That would be incredibly risky, and could lead to the team getting in serious trouble. It would be a terrible idea.

The Saints are definitely on the Broncos’ end of the see-saw when it comes to re-scheduling anything in the league’s eyes.
The Ravens game was a national game.
The Saints/Broncos game was already the C game on CBS BEFORE Denver had their QBs removed.
The networks are gonna want a full Saints team. If they ask for the Saints on Sunday, the network will get it.

Well, fwiw, Kamara tested positive pretty late in the week, similar to what happened to the Broncos. The Browns had a positive test on a Monday and the close contacts were able to test negative the rest of the week in order to not miss that week's game. So it depends on how late the player tests positive during the week.

Fwiw, the close contacts out for tomorrow's game will be back for the playoff game as long as they test negative this week.
