Alvin Kamara....Baldy again (1 Viewer)

Cat Daddy! Me-Yow.

"You could of put your morning cup of Starbucks on his helmet, and not spilled a drop." LOL!!!

The only other NFL running backs that had the same high level of elusiveness of Alvin Kamara is Gaye Sayers, and Barry Sanders.

He has the ability to get skinny at the line like no other back I seen since Barry Sanders.

He kinda goes against what your eyes tell you:

He looks kinda thin, but he’s bigger and more physical than you think. ( Edit: his balance esp after contact, ain’t bad either! )

He’s not a hard “juker”, but he’s quicker than you think.

He doesn’t look “fast”, but for some reason, once he’s in full stride, folks have a hard time catching him.

But if he looks like a very good football to you.... yeah he is! :9:

I see a chiropractor that travels with Panthers players from time to time. He said that the majority of the Panthers players say that AK is the hardest player to bring down. He asked them to elaborate why and they all had the same response “once we hit him, it feels (to them) that his legs go numb, so they think he is going down, but he actually keeps running”. They can’t seem to explain how that is. I thought that was interesting

I am convinced that Tennessee Vols head football coach Butch Jones was relieved of his duties after the 2017 season after the Rocky Top brass saw what AK41 did in the NFL in 2017.

If only Kamara had been used correctly by the coaching staff at Tennessee? Of course, if Kamara had been used correctly with the Vols... he might not be a Saint today.

Way to go, Butch Jones!

Love the Baldy breakdowns. He's the man. His love and passion for the game come through in every film clip.

Kamara was a freak in his first year. When knocked off balance, he would put his hand on the ground and regain his balance. Defenses had no answer for it. Must have done that 10-12 times.

He didn't use that technique last season, and I would love to know why. Coach? Fear of injury? Muscled up and can't bend? Gimpy ankle or toe? Defenses threatened to break his arm? It's a great mystery to me why he would abandon such a deadly technique.

No one, I mean no one, was as elusive as Gaye Sayers! ;-)
You have point. That goes without saying. But Kamara is definitely in Sayers zip code. His elusiveness is very natural and smooth. And he flows thru his cuts instead of having sudden breaks or stops to avoid the defender.

I never seen any player that looks so elusive that they appear to be jogging but they are actually running full speed.
