Good strategy by Kamara and the prudent thing to do. More players under the gun should do the same thing. No one on this site is more educated on his position than Kamara himself.

That's what I'm betting on. I'm thinking 3-4 games max. However, there's also the part of me that remembers Goodell HATES the Saints. But maybe Payton being gone will mitigate that hatred this time around.

With a reported good meeting now, feels like 1-3 games suspension would be expected. I’m assuming there was understanding and agreement from both sides of AK and the commissioner/league on the incident and the suspension length for it to go very well for AK.

I'll go with 3 games as a compromise. Any less that AK wanted then Goodell sends it to the neutral arbitrator ( a retired federal judge hired by both the NFL and NFLPA) for a decision.
