Amelia Earhart’s plane found? (1 Viewer)

Well, I consider myself more than "halfway-intelligent," and I'm not convinced that he was guilty of murder. I do think that he knows what happened, but I still believe that it was his son who committed the murders, and OJ helped cover it up. Beyond that, I don't want to derail this thread too far, so I won't spend much more time talking about this here.
I read about that theory, and from what I read it's pretty compelling. I do wonder, though, if there are reasons why no one ever tried to build a case against him, beyond "we know OJ did it, so there's no reason to look at any one else."

I've long felt that at a minimum, the investigation was incompetent if not completely botched. I'm not completely convinced, but having seen and read quite a bit on the it's hard to see anyone other than OJ committing the murders. OJ was always a pathological liar and what happened in this case and since isn't at all surprising for OJ.

that's what happens when they try to poorlyf rame a guilty person.

but back to Amelia, maybe this will pique the right 'rich person with too much money on their hands' interest.. and hope it turns out better than Al Capones empty vault..

Indeed. Lol.

I hope so. It would be something else if they could locate the plane.

He's still guilty under this hypothetical scenario you've just laid out of accessory after the fact of two double homicides. Which still leads to a very lengthy prison sentence if that is what the L.A. County District Attorney's Office had decided to charge him with and he's convicted.

But, I concur, that does derail this original thread topic so this will be my last comments on this particular subject.

It's funny how certain they are this is it, while people with competing theories are certain that it's not. It'll be interesting to see if they'll be able to get a sub down there to investigate.

Also, it's not mentioned in those articles, but I read a different article about this yesterday that explains why they searched in that area - the "Date Line" theory. The thought is they might not have propertly adjusted after crossing the international date line, which would have created a 60 mile difference with their destination that would have put them in the area the search was conducted.

So it was just a rock formation, not a plane...
