He's really not an elite DC, never has been. He had a plethora of talent with a lock down corner starting in 2017. If you can't properly call plays late in games to protect a lead, you're not an elite DC.

and they will likely never admit they are wrong....there are a few supposed so-called "experts" who fancy themselves analysts that were so convinced that Kubiak was going to cure all ills.....Assistant coaches don't make a head coach suddenly transform into a leader of men, DA never was a leader, never really capable of being a good HC.....and it's plain that his vaunted defense has quit on him.....IMO both DA and Loomis have to go, but probably won't.....Saints fan deserve better than this.....

Maybe Doug Pederson can come here? Loomis would let him have full control too. Philadelphia he wasn't bad with. That organization has high standards. Jacksonville has had problem after problem. He starts quick and then stalls but didn't the Saints stall with SP in year 2 and 3?

I had some very wrong opinions that got a lot of likes at the beginning of this thread LOL.. seems pretty clear now DA just is who he is which is not a head coach.

I think most of us just deffered to ML's opinion as being the best one. We agot Loomis'd.

Was just thinking about how in his two stints as head coach Dennis Allen never learned from his mistakes. It's eerily similar what the issues were and how in both instances the players got him canned. The only reason he lasted this long the second time around was due to his relationship with Loomis.

I still remember his presser when he was hired talking about learning from his mistakes during his first tenure and him being better for it. Sure enough, he still proved how oblivious he is to his surroundings.
