Analyst Warren Sharp on the unprecedented unfairness in the NFL schedule (3 Viewers)

I wonder if the NFLPA is going to react to this to at least make a point about it. Limited rest days will surely affect the number of injuries.
He should follow this up with a breakdown of the injuries on teams with the least number of rest days, if that’s a thing at the end of the season

The extent to which the NFL has been scripted under Goodell is sickening. These kind of shenanigans have Goodell's handwriting all over them. He plays favorites and it's apparent. The NFL is a playground for Goodell's pettiness.

And the Jets will still be sub-.500

I hear you on the no point in whining. The NFL is basically reality TV that's actually real. Since the Saints won the Super Bowl, the Saints winning or losing doesn't mean as much to me. I still watch Saints games and want to see them win, but them winning or losing is not as big a deal for me as it used to be.

Until they start winning again 😁

Poor 49ers. Feel bad for those guys. The Jets have everything going their way this season. It will be interesting to how they botch it this go round.
Never, and I mean NEVER, feel sorry for the 49ers. You must not have been around when no matter what record we had they were a game better in our division. Hate the 49ers!!

Not getting upset about this either --- The teams with the best net + or - are the teams that are in prime time. The more they shift games around to other days the more they are introducing this. If they want to avoid it, they need to feature a more broad group of teams and they want to feature the ones they believe will get the most eyes. --- Look, I am glad someone is upset about but the only way to solve is to spread out the prime time games.

Twitter is a terrible platform to use to pump out that level of detail and statistics. He should use a different one so viewers can more easily follow it along.

I guess that’s why he pitched his book midway through.

I think his site/content was purchased, but it looks like he still sells his annual guide.

But the 3 most beneficial teams…..:have each been losing franchises for 20 years.

So the league favors those teams, or they don’t?

Someone said small market KC has had success so it got screwed, WHAT????

They’re small market, (not what NFL likes) , but they’ve been winning super bowls.

So, now it’s not fixed?
Oh really?!?! How do you feel about certain teams that have play on Thursday Night during the season and others don't? Not to mention teams that play on Thursday Night twice! And what about fans that purchase season tickets and a home game is in London, Germany or Mexico. The fans may have to sell their tickets for less than the actual value or swallow to cost as a lost.

Don' t you think that's a very unfair advantage that some teams may have over their opponent? Goodell even influence control over the fan base. I get the NFL is doing this to make more money. But I think there maybe better ways to do it without swaying the balance of fairness and hurting each team.

The reasons this is happening at an unprecedented level now are three fold: an extra regular season week, but still only one bye, a full slate of Thursday games with Amazon demanding better games, and a bigger international game schedule. The NFL could use an algorithm to minimize this disparity. The first step would be to prioritize evening out the number of teams that get the detriment of playing a team off a bye which would appear to be the greatest contributor to this disparity.

He has a website. Twitter provides an easy platform to present content to a large number of people that don't visit your website - and to perhaps entice them to go there.

Just declare every team team 8-8 in week 1 and each team that loses is eliminated.

There's your equity.
