The other names are really good QBs that are having a good season. I don't need a metric to tell me that. I've watched every snap of Dalton's Saints tenure. He is not top 2 under any metric system. That's why it's a joke. The line about excluding red zone plays proves it. He's garbage in the red zone.

Point is he isn't top 2 in anything QB related. That's a ridiculous claim. This just shows why using stats to justify someone's play can skew the truth. I'm sure completion % factors into their metric. So he's getting kudos for throwing 2 yard passes on 3rd & 10.

His QB rating might be a big factor here. He's pretty much neck and neck with Allen on QB rating. Besides, as much as people birch about Dalton, he's not the reason this team is as bad as we are.

Exactly. Brees had some great seasons on losing teams. I'm not saying Dalton is that dude, but he's better than most people on this board give him credit for.

And yes records are a team thing, but folks can't cherry pick when we use records to judge QBs. Brady is the GOAT because of 7 rings which is a team accomplishment. So wins matter when judging QBs. Always have and always will.
