Any restaurants in NOLA open around Christmas?

Not a fan of a Reveillon type menu. I find most of the food, at most restaurants will be just a notch above buffet quality. And I have tried quite a few. I avoid the Christmas eve ones, like they are the plague. JMO though, obviously.

I’m on the opposite side. I love the reveillon flavors. I associate it with my maw maw. She used to do deer or duck with that clove, cinnamon, bay leaf, satsumas flavor that I think of when I want reveillon.

Yeah, sorry...I thought I had read that they opened sooner, but if MMs "friend" will be in town for New Year's, Tujague's should be ready. However, I'd probably wait a few weeks to let them get their "shtuff" together.

lol. My "friend" is actually my nephew and his GF. I'd tell you how many times scenarios changed since I first asked this question but you'd be dizzy. Family things ya know. They're only staying through the weekend.
