I’m looking for anyone’s experience, good or bad. I just had the device implanted and it will be activated in May.

Why the delay in activation? It’s seems interesting but I feel like none of these “fixes” really address underlying conditions. I was going to have turbinate reduction surgery but started exercising, llost 10 lbs and my wife my snoring is much better. I do use a sinus spray called Ryaltris that helps.

But to get to your question…no. But I would probably go with it before the dang tubes everywhere

The delay is to allow for healing. They put a device on the right side of my chest and ran a wire up into my jaw next to the nerve that controls the tongue. The incisions need to heal and scar tissue to form to keep the wire in place.
I had a stroke three years ago and lost a little more than 30 lbs. I use a Bipap machine and my pressure 19/15 keeps going up. Had to do something.

Sorry to hear about the stroke. Yeah if you have muscle weakness stemming from that then I can see how the device would help.

I have a cousin that got one. From what I know it's worked fine for her, but she hasn't gone into extreme detail about it.

I have a CPAP machine I don't use because I can't sleep with it on. Tried for 6 months. Horrible.

I have a full mask with my sleep machine, I tired the nose type and felt like I was drowning

Actually I need to send mine in for repairs. I’ve been putting it off for a couple weeks and the wife said I’m more Irritable and less patient since, probably due to lack of quality of sleep
